POLPHARMA has invested more than €150 million in various areas of its activity over the last five years. The main objective of most of these investments within the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals businesses, R&D, logistics, and other fields was to meet the highest international standards and provide the company with adequate conditions for further development.

In the area of fine chemicals we have focused on:

• Consolidation and upgrading the multipurpose facilities to the highest quality standards (especially the API finishing areas)
• Adjusting all the manufacturing processes to the international environmental requirements (IPPC Directive)
• Implementation of the Oracle integrated management system for production planning and warehouse management
• Modernization of the Pilot Plant and R&D laboratories
